Greenbush Bar

We’re finally doing a weekly feature on the Greenbush Bar, and its sooo long overdue. The Green Bush bar could possibly be one of campus area Madison’s (if not the entire city of Madison’s) most overlooked (or completely unknown for that matter) true gems. This unassuming, cozy little Italian appetizer and wine bar is located right at 914 Regent Street, but Madison locals you probably pass it every day without even realizing its there. Though its regulars probably relish its “under the radar” status, the Green Bush bar is really just too good to keep under wraps.

This is not your rig-a-ma-role college party bar, so if you looking to get crazy… look somewhere else. This candle lit, intimate little treasure has been in business for what seems like an eternity and places its focus on fine wines, scotch, select microbrews, and some of the best Italian food in the Madison area. From its homemade soups, antipasto, pizzas, and pastas everything on the menu is just too delicious to narrow it down. Whatever you do end up deciding on for dinner, one must is to cap it off with the BEST tiramisu in the whole city! Words or reviews can’t really do the Green Bush justice, so seriously… get someone special and go check this place out for your self!
