Attention sports fans its time to get lucky! Lucky's Bar and Grille in Madison is on our short list of “classically awesome” campus area sports bars, and we’ll tell ya why! Lucky's Bar and Grille is the successor of a UW Madison legend, the Oakcrest Tavern. Though almost every Madison Badger fan was sad to see the Oakcreast Tavern go in 2004, that sadness was quickly replaced with smiles once Badger fans began piling into Lucky's Bar and Grille. Immediately from its grand opening on, Lucky’s has been maintaining its reputation as one of Madison, WI premier sports bar and grills (its practically a crime not to stop in at Lucky’s on a Badger game day “Regent St. crawl”). Lucky’s offers all the classic “sports bar” grub, and then some (like a killer Friday night fish fry and homemade pizzas) with prices that wont break the bank (more money for beer). The atmosphere is comfortable, come as you are, and come ready for some serious sports action. Lucky’s offers a span of 40 TV’s for your every game day viewing pleasure, and they even throw in FREE shuttle rides to and from all Madison Kohl center events. In the sport of “awesome bars”, this place is always a winner!
